Done up my new blog skin.. actually wanted to add more things, but i guess i will be busy once i started on my new job, so here it goes! Hope it's okie! At least it's different from the old template i've always used. =)

Will be having my first day @ work tomoro! Feeling yet nervous and excited at the same time. Bought 3 sets of office wear for work for first few weeks. Hopefully my uniform will be ready soon enough, as i don't want to wear the same sets of clothes over and over again. >_< Just now went to take passport photos for work tomoro. And the photo really CMI. Compared to the photo which i took 2 years back for my driving licence, they are really worlds apart. Hopefully it's not my features has changed, it's only because that i've grown fatter!

Decided to try out for the job after all, well since i do not have much choices at this moment, and most importantly, my savings are depleting already.. Hopefully no regrets, at least for 6 mths.. Argh, but have to buy office attire for first few weeks coz the uniform will not be ready so soon. Hate wearing office attire.. very uncomfortable laa.. but luckily now GSS period.. sales everywhere.. Yippee! Gonna cherish my last few days of holidays~

Went for an interview this morning, at a small Jap company dealing in F&B. After the interview, they required me to do two tests. One is doing up a similar sample voucher using Powerpoint, (also has to type in Chinese). The other is thinking of a scenario of a complaint and then writing a formal business email in reply to this customer. Well.. spent about 2 hours doing it. Luckily no time frame given, but i just wanted to leave soon, as i think i wasn't very comfortable there.

Maybe my work got recognise because in the afternoon, one of the interviewer called me up saying i was shortlisted. However, i was rather skeptical about it after i probe further on their benefits and company culture. These are the pros and cons.

Cons:
- Open concept working environment. (Not much of privacy)
- Poor benefits (Annual Leave less than 10 days, have to go to company's doc/polyclinics for MC, can't take too many MCs as will affect the bonus!)
- Emphasis on punctuality (Can't be late as they may dock the pay!)
- One-girl show (Only me in the dept, and reports directly to Jap bosses)
- OT is not claimable. (Scared a lot of OT, since only 1 person in the dept)
- Have to work Alt Sat
- Have to wear their uniform (Business Suit)
- Have to sign 6 month bond (Meaning, i can't take flight during probation, if i do not like the job)

Pros:
- Lunch is provided. (can go to the restaurant to makan; save money haha)
- Job scope is what I am looking for.

For the pay wise, i am rather neutral as it is what i am asking for. And will also get more increment after probation if performance is good. After weighing the pros and cons, looks like the cons outweigh the pro. Haiz.. headache ah.. Mom and Sis told me to decide myself. I am just afraid that i can't find another job with the similar job scope. Hmm.. they even asked me to start work tomorrow! So urgent meh?! Of course i refused coz i still need time to rest. Yah, one month of slacking is not enough for me yet. The thought of waking up early and rushing to work dreads me a lot. But they told me to start on Monday... still in the process of considering...

That perfectly describes my feelings right now. Just found out something that i shouldn't have... I didn't know i mean so little to him at all, 4 years of relationship and he can just forget like that..

Ever noticed that whenever i update my blog, it's always late at night, after midnight, as i feel that it's more peaceful and i will have more time for my inner thoughts and then blogging them now. Also i'm a TV freak, in the day, i will always watch TV first. But today, I shall blog now as i'm afraid later i will be too tired to blog.

Went to the CC for dinner with my Mum last night. This is what we had for dinner.. Stir-fried potato leaves with sambal, Pan-fried fish with chilli, stir-fried chicken in soysauce + water chestnut drink. The first two dishes are delicious!

I think it makes me look fatter and i don't have the girly look.. so it makes my look weirder.. hmm.. but i can start to wear pastel colors like light blue, purple, white.. i've grown to like it... kekeke..

Yeah, finally bought my new mobile phone! N6111! Yup, it's quite an old phone.. but it's cheap and most importantly, it is quite pretty! And i got to use my $50 voucher! So excited!! Actually contemplating over VS2 or this one, and the sales asst actually told me to go for this coz it's more worth it.. VS2 cost $168 (with line), which is quite ex.. the price inflated again?? Wanted to get a clam phone but maybe next time.. coz it's hard to find a good and pretty clam phone, which is in white or pink nowadays.

This agency that I applied before for some job as a Marcom Exec actually call me up informing me that i had been selected for an interview as a Marketing Executive, and when i went to check the email she had sent me, the description was sort of like a Sales position which i had totally no interest and not my forte anyway.. I called up this agent and asked whether this position was something that i applied? Anyway i thought all agencies had this practice: They need to call up the candidate first to find out about him/her, some even had a screening interview before submitting my resume over.. Was quite angry, but after that, this agent said it's not so much of a sales position... I went for the interview in the end, and this company was in the same industry as my last company, S***furn! Surprised!! The interviewer even knew my management, lolz! Okie, the position is not so much of a sales position, but i wasn't interested also, as i don't want to be in the same industry again...(but probably they selected me for the interview is because of that)

Received news from a bud, that she got attached with her colleague! Congrats!! Happy for her! But i was also overwhelmed with sadness all over again as most of my friends has all gotten attached.. and here i am, back to square one.. Anyway, hope she can find time for her old bud here!

Spent the day fiddling here and there with the new blog skin (inspired by Polarie). It's time i should put my html skill to use otherwise it might become obsolete.. The last time i used was in poly days? We had to come up with our own website for a certain attraction (place of interest) anywhere in the world.. And i spent the whole night doing it.. (My group mates were in charge of other projects, if you are wondering, lolz) even though it was just basic HTML, i feel accomplished as i was the only one to complete the whole thing! Back to topic, the new blog skin should be up these few days.. But don't laugh if it's not up to standard hor..!

Accomplished something today, finally tidy up my make-up and skincare items.. didn't know got so many, and i did dump a lot of my old make-up away.. bought too many and didn't use them, what a waste~ Next, i'm going to tidy and clear my cupboard of books, which i didn't have time to clear.. Imagine my last exams was in dec 2004! What a great procastinator i am?!

Celebrated Mother's Day in advance by bringing her to Pizza Hut together with my sis and my nieces on Wed.. I ordered 'Chic & Shrooms' Spaghetti with Neopalitan Sauce, Mum ordered 'Surfer's Choice' Spaghetti (Shrimps and Squids) with Alfredo Sauce, Sis and her children ordered Beef Lasagne.. Also we ordered Hut's Platter with criss-cross fries, Fish 'O' and calamari.. It was yummy.. and the bill came up to 40 plus only including some discounts.. was worth it!

Went down to this recruitment agency at Maxwell Road on Thurs. Wow, and what an experience i got. This lady ask me lots of questions, but i think i have blurted some things out unknowingly.. and what's more, i slept late the night before and i had trouble concentrating.. hmm.. anyway, i think this agency not bad, at least she got questions to ask unlike other agencies.. which are quite slipshod in their screening interviews..

I seriously think i have an eating disorder, keep eating though i'm already full. Just like today, was late in the night, and i still pop lots of potato chips.. Thought that's the worse? Nope! Just two days ago, I've eaten already 2 bowls of home-cooked porridge, and then late in the night, i still ask Mum to cook Mee Sua for me, with prawns and egg somemore.. ! I'm already past puberty, why i'm still like that? I wonder is it because of the hot weather? i'm getting more and more bloated!! Anyone help?!

Later in the afternoon, watched Super Sunday repeat, in year 2000.. showed Xiao S and her then bf, Jiao Jiao, and also Mavis Fan and her then bf, Lawrence happily in love.. now everything has changed. Shows that love can never be everlasting~ Seen many unhappy marriages and relationships around me. I somehow already lost the confidence in guys already.. but don't worry, me not bi or les hor.. The most, stay single.. but guess i will be lonely during old age, but i could adopt children so not so bad.. haha.. guess i'm thinking too much.. right now just want to find a good job. That's my concern now.

Oh ya, i received a $50 voucher for a new handset from Starhub! Finally they did some work after i sent in an email of complaint.. lolz.. They really should do some self-reflection on retaining current customers like offering rebates after 2 years like what M1 has done.. So i was really unhappy when they did not do anything after my contract ends last year! Their customer relationship management really CMI.. Time flies, and i've finished serving my notice. Last day was last thurs.. was elated but also sad at the same time since i will be leaving my colleagues already. Did so many things on the last day as there will be new promotion campaigns. Well, looks like i've handed over most of the things already. Hopefully i won't be receiving calls from them asking me about work! Bought little gifts for my colleagues in my dept only... lolz.. in turn, they treated me to dinner at Ajisen at Lot 1. Ate a bowl of 'Ruan Gu La Mian'.. the meat taste a lot like fatty meat.. gross.. still i managed to finish the whole bowl.. side dishes we ordered soft shell crab, fried prawns, prawns with mayo and fried cuttlefish.. After which, we proceeded to a park at CCK for chit chatting.. After that night, managed to dig some gossips over at our company.. lol.. Oh ya, during the day i was also busy drafting out thank you emails and handover issue to my agencies and media companiees.. and also sending an appreciation email to my directors in both english and mandarin versions! Bye bye S***furn!

I guess we are not suitable at all, so i decided to call it quits.. ya after 4 long years.. I finally realise that i'm not happy during the time we were together. It's very taxing.. don't wish to comment too much here. Guess i will always remember him and the times we spent together. All the best for him, and hope he finds a better gal for him.. And don't worry too much for me, i think i am more happier being single. =)
