Thank you for being a part of my life..

Thank you for leaving a deep print in my life..

Thank you for loving me unconditionally..

Thank you for lighting up my life when it seems dark..

But..

Thank you for abandoning me when i needed you most..

Most importantly, thank you for teaching me the most important lesson in life.

The week started the same as usual, me dozing away in bus and woke up in time to reach my stop. Perhaps i was dreaming away after having lunch. As usual, i had to clear away my own bowls and plates after makan-ing.. then suddenly, all of them just slipped off from my hands.. and one of the bowl broke into pieces.. sianz.. i think it must be a bad omen.. luckily, as my senior colleague mentioned, boss wasn't around today. But i hate my senior said this, "How could the bowls slipped away??" What a funny question she asked me! Somehow, i don't really like her.. she seems to be a hypocrite. From what i've observed, and what my other colleagues said about her. But what to do, she is my immediate senior lor! And the most ironical is, she is the same age as my Mum. Luckily, when i see my Mum, i don't get reminded of her! I must eat as fast as possible tomorrow onwards and hope don't have to see her during lunch!

Last Thursday, met up with my ex-colleague, or should i say an ex-acquaintance? Worked together about a month ba. She left coz she couldn't stand the ways of my ex-boss. I should say it's smart of her to leave so soon! Got her some Famous Amos cookies for her since i'm not sure when we will meet again. Ha. Anyway, we had a rather late dinner coz she had to work a bit of OT. We met about 7.45pm at Taka. She told me that was her one of her most earliest knock-off time! Hmm.. she's working as an A&P Executive, in one of the well-known retail mall. She told me she's reconsidering whether to stay on in this line, Marcom/A&P, coz she's toiling like s*** in this company. Staying OT till 9 or 10pm almost everyday, had to work weekends if there are events, and the pay that she gets isn't worth it lor. What she said knocks me out of my dreams. I've always thought Marcom is my long term career goal, thought it was interesting and challenging. But then, i'm not going to sacrifice my personal time by working OT and weekends. This isn't what i'm looking for. She advised me to look for high end retail products, like those branded names, FJ Benjamin, Bulgari, Mont Blanc are some of the named ones. Now my career path seems so bleak among others.

Oh, on a lighter note, i whip up an non-bake Oreo cheesecake on Sat night. Took me about 2 hours, even with the help of Mum. Wow, it tastes real good. At last, the first successful i've made! Yummy but fattening wor! But to think of it, it wasn't that successful coz the crust at the bottom of the cake doesn't stick to the cake.. I think shall make another one, when i'm free. Don't dare to post the pic up coz it doesn't look too appetizing ah.. ha..

Two times in one week, eat steamboat.. both mala and one other non-spicy soup.

Just went to opposite Parco Bugis called 'Chuan Yi Pin' for steamboat with Joyce. The other soup base was herbal soup.. Damn bloated.. and the food was not that good.. But the herbal soup tastes really nice.

Thursday, i brought Mum, Sis and two kids to 'Xian De Lai' near my house there. It is a-la-carte style and i think the food taste a lot fresher and nicer. The other soup base was duck soup. The mala soup don't taste that 'mala', which is better for me.. Heh! I like especially the handmade noodle and 'shui jiao' Thumbs up! (But the photo doesn't look so appetizing coz i suddenly remembered to take photo only after eating.. )

Then this week i ate lots of foodie.. durians and curry chicken in a loaf.. yummy.. the durians sold at my void deck were especially big and delicious.. *slurpz*

Thursday, actually was supposed to meet my ex-colleague for dinner, but i postponed it coz i had a really bad day at work!! Sucky day.. encountered a phone complaint, and i just told the customer to email us instead of telling me over the phone, and in the end, i also kenna complain!! F*** it!! This stupid customer only knows how to complain, and she is always right. Yah, i know what, customers are always right, but crap lah, this sentence. I don't agree at all. Then i wrote in the reply email the reason of emailing.. more precise and facilite investigation etc.. Luckily the issue is solved within the day, but it totally spoilt my mood already.

Last Saturday, met up with ZX, Jeff and WK to watch Superman Returns. Found beginning of the show intriguing but towards the end, it gets boring and predictable. But the lead actor, Brandon Routh is very charming, think most of the ladies who watched the show are swooned by his charm. After that, we went to Newton Circus Food Centre for dinner. It was a mistake to go there. Didn't know it has just been renovated. Ordered BBQ Sting Ray, Sambal Kang Kong and Chicken Wings. Then the uncle just put our dishes onto the dirty table which we are seated at. He didn't even bother to clean the table. Alamak. He said he thought that we just ate those plates. Then i said, i thought still need to clean right even it was us who ate those! And then the Sting Ray really sucks! It was cold inside, all of us felt that the uncle didn't really BBQ or grill it.. yucky.. but the kang kong made up for it coz it was a big plate and very nice. The chicken wings also very yummy! Then we ordered sugar cane juice, without lemon. Then the Indian man said we ordered with lemon. And we insist we didn't order, i think there's a miscommunication ba.. Then he also mentioned he 'lugi', coz he already put lemon inside the drinks already.. *piangz*.

This post is dedicated to my beautiful Melbourne Trip in 2004.. Was a short overseas study program required for completing the RMIT course.. Of course, the people that I went with makes a big difference.. but i was torn into 2 teams.. but was a pity that i couldn't get hold of the other group's photos that i've taken with...

My favourite photo: Scenery of Yarra River

Finders' Station

One of Melbourne's buildings

Great Ocean Road - 12 Apostles

RMIT City Campus

In the vast green land....

I like the road to Great Ocean Road.. passed by a Zoo.. those that can drive vehicles go in.. it was really vast. How i wish to go there again.. ha..
