Just back from gathering X'mas dinner with uni-mates at Hanabi @ Odeon Towers. The food is ok. We had 3 servings of mix sashimi platter, 4/5 plates of black pepper beef, sushi, california rolls etc... Each pay about $39. We had a mini gift exchange.. i received Jo's one. It was a cute bear with toiletry set.. so kawaii.. love pink! ZX got my present, it was a toiletry set also, olive tree set bought from Tangs. Jo got thumbdrive from Jeff. Jeff got Taka voucher from WK. And WK got a bear coin bank from ZX..

Later we went to Starbucks for a cuppa of caffeine before proceeding home..

Tried out the criss-cross fake eyelashes for the first time.. Jo thought i had a dbl eyelid surgery!

Later attending Der's NS friend wedding dinner at Grand Copthorne.. dunno bored or not.. >.<

Spent a bomb yesterday, yet again, on a facial package at Touche. I dun really regret as the lady gave me rather a good deal: 15 sessions for $1020. Initially was $88.80. And 1 session takes at least 1.5 hrs, which was rather long, including eye treatment and ampoule. I really love it there.. very relaxing.. but i still missed the 1st therapist who did it for me =) She was really nice and did a good job for me.. too bad she has left to give birth =(

But.. now i'm rather broke.. recently really bothered by the financial issue thingy..

Monthly expenses
1. Debts to be cleared - Aunt and Grandma
2. Insurance premiums
3. Mum's allowance
4. Handphone/Broadband/Mio TV bills
And now, facial package and massage package!!

On top of it what about my daily expenses, shopping expenses?

God.. i really need more money!!

Talking about facial, my skin gotten worse.. i don't know why, scared the hell out of me. There's many bumps and pimples appearing on the cheek. If it doesn't improve, perhaps i will go visit the skin doctor.

Met up with my university mates yesterday for diinner. Food was really good at Hog's Breath, Chijmes. Celebrated Zhaoxin and Weixiang's birthdday. And we got complimentary Mud cake and Apple Crumble.. So nice of the staff =) Total damage was $180 ++ which was quite reasonable =) Ok next session, will be a tennis session. 2nd one, though Jo and Weixiang never turned up.

I love Batam! I love Harris Resort!

Went to Batam on 28 - 29 Jun. Though was an extremely short trip, we had a good time laughing, eating, relaxing at the resort.. Went for bowling, foot reflexology, full body massage at the resort.. The massage was done outdoor, such a unique experience! (see photos below)Bought a pair of sandals at the resort (only buy i had at Batam) Had a good seafood dinner at Golden Prawn.. I like the Sambal Kangkong & Claypot Tofu. Spent the last day shopping at the Batam Mega Mall but didn't bought anything there.. had to accompany Mum back on Sunday as she needs to be back then.. while my aunties and uncle had a day extension, they went to color their hair and had another day of shopping =(

Yeah, as the title goes.. i love my perm more as the days passed.. actually it depends on whether i can get the style i want.. but at least now my hair condition looks better now. And i didn't go back to the Auntie to reperm.. coz she gave excuses like 'my hair will get very dry', 'maybe your left hand is not very smooth compared to your right hand', 'try tying the left side of the hair to make it more curly..'

That's what he got delivered to my office on yesterday - 13 Feb. He said they can't deliver on the actual day coz they are full.. what sort of reason was that.. anyway was really surprised to receive this bouquet of flowers.. =)



Today, he couldn't make it in time for our V day celebration, as he was on RT. Thus we postponed to tomoro instead. Anyway he met me late today just to have dinner with me on this special day. I appreciate his thoughts.. =)

Countdown was at St James with my sisters, PL and Joyce. It has been sometime since we club. Thought it will not be fun. Surprising, it was rather fun at Dragonfly, and we saw PL's friend over there, whom we were treated to free drinks. The gals were so high, slipping ice-cubes down the bodies! Haha!

Darl brought J and myself back at about 2+ am, whom i've lost communication with through sms-es coz of high volume of sms-es sent for the past hours.

So tired for the whole of today. Woke up at 11 plus am, then went back to sleep till 3+ pm for late lunch then slept at 6pm till 7plus. Now still feeling sleepy.. Yeah, that's how i spent my new year.

Met up with my uni-mates for brief lunch on Sat at Paragon, Bakerzin. Then we went to Cineleisure HK Cafe for some drinks. It was a long time already. Looks like all of us have some problems breaking the ice... Anyway we exchanged X'mas presents and WK got my 'skull-head' and i got ZX's mini kettle.

On sun, went with Darling for fishing at Marina Bay. Guess what, my line caught this 'bubble fish'. It looks so scary!! Darling say it is poisonous! Luckily he cut it off and it got stuck onto the stones there... gross.. Anyway we didn't catch anything, then it started raining heavily. Hope we can go there again soon...

X'mas eve, had a hearty X'mas dinner with my family & Darling came over as well.. We had Turkey, Ham, Sashimi & Home made Chocolate Fondue. Yummy!! Oh.. by the way i've grown fatter (gained a few kg) since i've stopped going PF.. =( Going to start again real soon...

On X'mas Day, Darling brought me to Square 2. It looks big but nothing much to shop there. It looks similar to BKK.. Then we went to Mt Faber, took a cable car. Waited the tallest X'mas tree in SG to light up at 8pm+. It was my first time to Square 2 and also my first time to take a cable car. Both of us were MT (mountain tortoises). Haha.

It was a sunny day.. As usual, i was waiting at the bus stop, feeling a bit furious that my bus has just left.. Then he came and approached me. I was surprised as i thought that he will never approach me though i've seen him many times these years.

Remember those days... he sat beside me. He was my partner, my buddy, we did many things together. He teased me and i teased him back. You know, those childish things kids does? We were in P5. Those days, i will easily fall for guys easily when we teased each other. But not him. I'm not sure why, perhaps i've treated him like my soulmate. Someone i can confide things but not as a lover.. Gradually, not sure why, we drifted apart during Pri 6 when we split classes. He's doing well now. I wish him all the best!

I realised that all my classmates are doing well now, always getting increment but not me. After working for 1 year plus, my increment is so miserable! There's no appraisal so there's no benchmark. Perhaps it's time for a switch! Yet again...

Nowadays kept doing my personal things in the office, take for example, recording what I’ve been eating everyday, planning my workout schedule, looking for holiday destinations etc..

My weight still remains stagnant. I’m still eating sinful stuff all these while, especially during weekends where my appetite actually doubled! I think it’s a waste of my money & time at PF! Left only like about 3 more months to go.

Did I mention that I received my ON loots already? So happy! Everything fits to a T. Except one which is rather loose, and makes me look rather flabby. I’m still waiting patiently for my TW auctions loots.. it has been more than one month already. I hope everything goes well.

Sunday afternoon, met up with Der & went to fish prawns at Lakeside. Actually I had wanted to go to cycle but he said his attire doesn’t suit so we opt that out. In the end, I was rather bored coz I only caught 3 prawns for the day. And he caught 10 prawns. Badly demoralized. Haha.







After which, went for dinner at the hawker center near urong Blk 500+ there and ate Dried Yong Tau Foo. It was good. Now grown to like to eat Yong Tau Foo but probably need to eat in soup is healthier for me. Then I brought all the prawns home, steamed and ate all up with my Mum. Dunno how my cholesterol level now..

Yesterday initially wanted to go to PF but decided against it coz of my tummyache. Probably because of all the junk I ate during the weekends. Since Mum and Sis wanted to order Sakae, so I helped to place orders. Each of us has a Bento set

In addition we ordered Fried Hotate & Soft Shell Crab. In the end, I think if we had eaten at the outlet itself, it will taste much better. The tempura, soft shell crab and other fried stuff are not so nice, only the sashimi still taste fresh. Total damage comes up to $70.50

I forgot to mention that I went for my complimentary facial at Body Wellness near Orchard last month. Remember I was still coughing hard during the entire session. I think it was called Diamond Sparkling Treatment. Firstly, the beautician cleaned my face then she used a tool to zap all the dead skin cells from my face. Then I had 2 masks. One was sheet mask and the other was something she applied onto my face. And she gave me a shoulder massage. It was really refreshing and comfortable. After that, the sales consultant psycho me into buying their package, and of course, I did not succumb to the temptation.

I have 2 more complimentary facials I got from the bridal mags that my company advertised.

Uh-oh, so long never update.. all because 1) that i do not have broadband at home already, 2)busy planning for my KL trip.

Will be going to KL for a short getaway this Thurs night with my buds.. finally finished planning and has printed our itinerary.. hope that this will be a relaxing trip and not no rushed one de..

Last evening, went to Settler's cafe @ Clarke Quay with my uni-mates. This is all our first time there. Damn, a most embarrasing thing happened to me, this is not the first time.. the same thing happened when i was in Melbourne with the same group of friends.. Anyway i had a jolly good time playing good-o-monopoly.. think we were boring huh? Because this is the only boardgame everyone of us were familiar.. However, the dinner wasn't fantastic.. everyone had fish and chips.. and i couldn't finish it..

Thusday, arranged a WB editor and her photographer to DG for food tasting.. i felt so out.. because this 'manager' (mentioned earlier in my blog) kept on talking to her, without giving me a chance to talk to the editor.. :( Anyway just hope that the article turns out well.. will be coming out next Thurs WB.. shall be buying that to read in the coach to KL.. haha.. something to myself entertained..

Back-tracked to last week:
Saturday - Met up with PL to swim in the late afternoon, after that met up with J at Causeway Point to discuss our KL trip
Sunday - Initially planned to go KTV with PL, later cancelled coz we were feeling lazy to go out liao.. hee

Oh and i think the week before last (Friday), went to attend a wedding dinner at Marriot with Mum. It was our old neighbour's son getting married. He was 28 and the bride was just 22.. wah so young.. i suddenly felt old.. Those old neighbours kept asking when i was getting married.. i hate this kind of gathering.. Aside to this, i love the food.. especially the steamed pomfret and shark's fin.. Oh and mum asked me again whether want to join her to attend Grandma's sister's son's wedding dinner.. somewhere at the end of the year, probably will, because of the food + no need to give angbao (from me).. lolz.

Think that's about all, nothing happened much.. will be back again to update my KL trip.. L)
