Some updates:

Last Sat, met up with J & V for movie and bit of shopping at JB.. we watcbed Confessions of a Shopaholic.. it was not bad movie. We had a pathetic dinner at one of the food outlet in City Square as by the time we finished shopping (i bought some skincare products), there weren't many eateries still operating.. but we spotted Marrybrown! Next time can makan there..

As for Wed, our company had annual dinner at 88 Restaurant. Well the food was not so nice wor.. compared to the previous 2 times i had annual dinner at the other 2 restaurants. In between the games, i sneaked out to collect Dar's Bd cake at Awfully Chocolate.. it so damn far from the restaurant to Vivocity wor.. just in time for the lucky draw.. luckily as i won the 13th prize haha.. got a $200 Takashimaya voucher! Later met up with Dar to cut cake.

We proceeded to one of the bridal studios at JB on Thurs, thanks to a nice lady i know thru S'pore Brides.. in the end, i confirmed immediately and got quite a good deal, i supposed haha.. will be waiting for them to call me once they got new ROM dress =) hopefully soon ah.. We wanna go Jusco.. Dar dunno the way well and we got lost, finally reach there safely, we had KFC, and we got some groceries & toiletries & i got 2 knickers from Topshop only RM 36 nia for 2.. there also got 2 BS having bridal fair.. we wanted to go back to CitySquare to buy his PS2 games, but din got any.. instead we got some titbits.. wanted to have seafood at Ta Ma Hua Yuan (is near the BS actually) but got lost again! We went back to SG and got caught in traffic jam. After that we went to Farmart to tabao seafood home - Lala, susu, stingray, chicken wings!!

Friday, we went to Lim Chu Kang for fishing.. i caught 2 fishes.. both seabass.. after that we had BBQ over there as well.. the BBQ pomfret was very nice! We had satay (Nice!), Chicken Wings, Pork (nice!), hotdogs, crabmeat & sweet potato (nice!).. Surpisingly it's one of the Uncle's birthday as well!

Later meeting Uni-mates up for makan session at Outback Steakhouse at Milennia Walk to celebrate WK's belated birthday (his bd falls on the same day as Dar)!

Ate so much.. time to start work-out next Mon onwards!

Just back from gathering X'mas dinner with uni-mates at Hanabi @ Odeon Towers. The food is ok. We had 3 servings of mix sashimi platter, 4/5 plates of black pepper beef, sushi, california rolls etc... Each pay about $39. We had a mini gift exchange.. i received Jo's one. It was a cute bear with toiletry set.. so kawaii.. love pink! ZX got my present, it was a toiletry set also, olive tree set bought from Tangs. Jo got thumbdrive from Jeff. Jeff got Taka voucher from WK. And WK got a bear coin bank from ZX..

Later we went to Starbucks for a cuppa of caffeine before proceeding home..

Tried out the criss-cross fake eyelashes for the first time.. Jo thought i had a dbl eyelid surgery!

Later attending Der's NS friend wedding dinner at Grand Copthorne.. dunno bored or not.. >.<

Hands and body aching after a session of tennis yesterday with my uni-mates. Damn tired.. After that, we went to have dinner at Tian Jin Lou at Pagoda Street. It was nice and affordable which was my birthday treat = ) After that we roamed around Chinatown area and settled down at a dessert shop. I had Mango Puree with Beancurd and the rest had Mango with Pomelo.. Yummy and really cools me down.

Just now went to Sunset Way, Fortune Cuisine with Joyce. We had BBQ and steamboat. The food is quite nice. Each person only $28 which was quite cheap. We had sashimi-salmon, sushi, and yakiniku beef, mongolian beef, eel, crayfish, scallops, satay etc and meatballs, vege, mushrooms etc for steamboat. We talked about our work which was rather depressing. Hope things go well for her. And wish myself all the best too... .

Though a bit early - Happy Mid-Autumn Festival to everyone!~

Have been eating a lot this week.. Last Sat went to have lunch at Thai Accent at Vivo after my work with my supplier, Joanne. We had Tom Yam soup, Green curry, braised tofu, Pineapple Rice. Looks like a lot for both of us. In the end, we didn't manage to finish all. Anyway got to know some things about her. =)

Went to JB on Sun with Dear. He drove. We went to Citysquare got his PS2 games and i got myself a software =p. And we discovered 'Innercity', which i've never discovered before.. lots of eateries and shopping outlets.. so cool. Next time must visit there with J & PL. =) And i feel like going to Jusco one of these days.. Anyways we had early dinner at Sushi King - it was my treat. But i think the food sucks.. =( And we bought some mooncakes as there was a mooncake fair going on. I think the packaging are so exqusite. Will take a photo if i have time.. =)

On Tues - had KFC Delivery even after dinner.
On Thurs - had Canadian Pizza Delivery. The pizzas are so yummy, and the potato wedges + tempura cod nuggets just makes me salivate.

And had been eating mooncakes everyday!!

And later, will be meeting uni-mates for tennis session and dinner!! I must perservere for my slimming plan!!

Spent a bomb yesterday, yet again, on a facial package at Touche. I dun really regret as the lady gave me rather a good deal: 15 sessions for $1020. Initially was $88.80. And 1 session takes at least 1.5 hrs, which was rather long, including eye treatment and ampoule. I really love it there.. very relaxing.. but i still missed the 1st therapist who did it for me =) She was really nice and did a good job for me.. too bad she has left to give birth =(

But.. now i'm rather broke.. recently really bothered by the financial issue thingy..

Monthly expenses
1. Debts to be cleared - Aunt and Grandma
2. Insurance premiums
3. Mum's allowance
4. Handphone/Broadband/Mio TV bills
And now, facial package and massage package!!

On top of it what about my daily expenses, shopping expenses?

God.. i really need more money!!

Talking about facial, my skin gotten worse.. i don't know why, scared the hell out of me. There's many bumps and pimples appearing on the cheek. If it doesn't improve, perhaps i will go visit the skin doctor.

Met up with my university mates yesterday for diinner. Food was really good at Hog's Breath, Chijmes. Celebrated Zhaoxin and Weixiang's birthdday. And we got complimentary Mud cake and Apple Crumble.. So nice of the staff =) Total damage was $180 ++ which was quite reasonable =) Ok next session, will be a tennis session. 2nd one, though Jo and Weixiang never turned up.

Later on, met up with PL and J to catch fireworks.. the way from Marina Square was terrible as everyone was walking in the opposite direction as me, as i walked over to Cityhall.. Finally caught the fireworks nearby Cityhall.. sad thing is some fireworks cannot be seen..

As usual, dragged myself to work this morning. It was a nice day to sleep in, very cooling and very comfy in my bed. Had wanted to take a short nap as usual in the bus however was disturbed by two gals who were sitting right behind me, and were practically yakking loudly all the way till they got down. One of the gals’ voice was exceptionally loud, which I find it difficult to doze off.

Met up with my university mates for dinner @ Outback Steakhouse, Millenia Walk last Sat. I ordered Outback Steak with Mashed Potato as my side. However, I feel that it wasn’t as nice as I thought. The meat is rather tough despite it was just medium rare.. and there were potato skin in the mashed potato. Perhaps it was to enhance the taste but I didn’t fancy that.

Anyway we had a quick chat over dinner, realized some of them are doing well in their jobs, unlike me. I am still struggling to make ends meet with my meager pay. Moreover, I am still deciding whether to make Marcom as my lifetime career.. even now in this current job, I am doing more in F&B and wedding menus, and doesn’t really involve much in Marcom. I feel like I am wasting my life away in this current co. Actually I prefer to do something more in-depth Marketing such as analyst, strategist or researcher. I wonder whether I would get to be in that position. I am not a lucky person, to begin with. As you can see, my friends are all doing well than me. I do not mind doing extra to earn more money. In this stage in my life, money is the most important. Why? Because I am the sole breadwinner in the family. And I needed extra money for shopping and to get a CC to make online purchases and installments.

Well.. back to our short gathering, we went to Coffee Club @ Marina Sq for some drinks. Got Jo a slice of blueberry cheesecake as a surprise for her upcoming birthday. Sadly she doesn’t really like the cake. For me, I would prefer oreo cheesecake though.. haha . And she paid for our drinks and the cake. So this doesn’t count a celebration ba.. Haiz... It was really great to see them all again. Time flies, counting the number of times that I’ve celebrated my birthday with them (after leaving uni), this coming birthday will be the third time, meaning that we have kept in contact for 3 years. Yet, I have this feeling that we are all hiding things from one another. It is really difficult to get all to open up, especially ZX and WK. Anyway I hope this monthly ritual will continue as long as possible.. hee..

Envy friends such as PL, Joyce and Jo etc as they have colleagues whom they can mingle well with. They go out together after work hours and can chat about anything under the sun. As for me, I rather miss my ex-colleagues in my ex-company. I clicked well with them, but time with them was short. In fact, ALL of them has moved on to greener pastures, and we somehow stopped contacting one another. Maybe that’s what called ‘Fate’. It has decided how many acquaintances and friends we have in our lifetime. I remember one acquaintance, she contacted me only when she needed help, she will sms ‘do you have any job recommendations?’

My current colleagues are nice people however, they have their own family and will not go out together after work for shopping or to have a meal. It was like the norm, everyone doing their work during working hours and going home on the dot. I find it too quiet sometimes during working hours, that I find myself dozing off any moment. And during off peak periods, like now, I’m so free, doing nothing. It’s too much of an extreme. During peak periods, I will be so busy that I have to reach office earlier to do my work. And what are the downsides of this company? No internet at our workstation, no personal emails, no music, uniforms and shoes. So I’m on the lookout again. I can’t stand such life anymore.
