Well, many things happened that I haven’t got the time to blog. The next day after our Outdoor shoot on 29 Sept, he incurred a terrible pain in his back. Has been delaying for some time for his back problem. He went to see TCM few times but no use. Then he went to SGH. There was a need to go to MRI as Xray could not see the problem. On a Sunday, was supposed to choose photos, then he can’t bear the pain any longer. So I suggested to go to SGH A&E but end up no use. Doctor just inject him with 2 doses of painkiller. It just made that part feel numb. Then after the MRI, doctor said that he has got a swollen muscle tissue in his spine. Doctor gave him 2 choices: go for injection to ease the swollen tissue or go for op to remove the swollen tissue. He chose the latter. So just before he went for op, we went to select photos finally. He just had an op on Monday, was discharged on Wednesday. And the things still on-going like he wanna vomit, having fever makes me feel worried and sian at the same time. When will he recover? I ponder.

Sunday finally went prawning with Dear.. though it was quite a while since I prawned, I still catch about 10 or more prawns (sharing a rod with Dear). Went to the one at Taman Jurong.. as Dear said can fish ‘tag’ on Sunday. In the end, we only got 1 tag, and I only spinned $2 only. And I also bought my first oven to use for baking!

Bought some utensils and ingredients to bake my first cake.. I tried to bake my very first cake, last night but it was a failure.. too embarrassed to take pics =( don’t know what went wrong.. but I will still continue to experiment with it, till succeed… wish me success!!

Am trying to learn to cook now, so I can cook nice dishes for Dear and my MIL if I moved in to their house..

Now frantically looking for MUA and PG for my AD.. it is a very HOT date so the good & cheap ones are not available already. =( I am too slow.. Yap.. I must faster confirm.. Actions must be very quick liao!!

Some updates

1 Aug was Jo’s AD. Attended her banquet at My Humble House @ Esplanade. That night coincidentally was NDP preview, so I took MRT there, and walked all the way to Esplanade with WK and Jeff. As I was late, so we walked quite fast… in the end having blisters on my foot.. yucks.. as the insides of the sandals I was wearing has worn off thus cutting my poor foot.. now in the healing process.. Anyway, My Humble House has a good view of the SG River as well as the fireworks.. very spectacular view just b4 the dinner. The food was fusion styled, whereby each guest was served individually and I felt the food was fantastic. Lastly, congrats to Jo & Raymond!

Last Friday, 7 Aug was Evan’s Hen’s Night.. all gals prepared something for her… ha.. but too bad, she was not game enough to perform all the things we had prepared for her.. like getting guys to kiss her... Hen was supposed to do all sorts of crazy stuff on her last day as a bachelorette mah.. Anyway we just drank like nobody’s business.. I actually like the Mixers – Vodka mixed with Cranberry and Vodka mixed with Red Bull.. much better than the tequila shots / pop.. Went home giddily at about 1 plus and slept straight like a log.. Imagine I still need to work next day on Sat 1/2 day..

Saturday, after visiting Dad for short while @ Grandma's house, met up with Joyce for short dinner for KFC @ West Mall.. Had the coupons so we tried the Spicy drumlets.. preferred the Chilli Blast.. Later on, we had ice-cream at Udders.. surprisingly West Mall also had an outlet on 2nd floor.. Udders had also just opened an outlet just opposite my house.. I had Mao Shan Durian and Orange Bitter Choc.. Yumm..

Sunday, National Day 9 Aug, went with Dear to eat BBQ steamboat buffet @ Chong Pang, Turf City.. the food was ok only.. it was $18 per pax on PH / Weekends.. inclusive of free flow of soft drinks.. after that went to visit Dad.. Der was rushing off to work as he was working night shift..


Monday 10 Aug, was supposed to go with Dear for prawning @ Bishan, the one that Esther has mentioned.. I think it is @ Bishan Park.. Dear said we went before.. in the end, I had to meet up with Evan’s & her JM for discussion. Her AD will be on this Sat 15 Aug. Ya, Dear was unhappy. Initially he said ok, prawning can go the following week, then eventually he showed his true feelings… as we dragged till about 6pm plus as the JMs were choosing & buying their ‘blue’ dress... After which, suggested Adam Food Centre as we were driving towards there.. and we had prawn noodles.. 3 medium prawns + noodles cost $5 each! Had a slight shock.. and it taste so-so only..

Cooked spaghetti this evening for dinner for my family!! Was my virgin try at cooking spag.. we had the mushroom sauce and the cheese and herbs sauce.. it was fantastic, that's how i felt =p.. next time shall try something spicy? after ROM-ed, i learnt to love cooking hahaha.. hope to whip up something nice for Dear and my MIL in future.. =)

I had been spending money due to facial package / massage / hair / skin products etc.. we need to save up for our future house.. though we haven't got a house yet. Also, i need to leave money for my family.. because of dad.. Also, i am still hooked to online sprees.. -_-||

Know what? My skin has been popping up pimples for the past 2 months.. i believe it's because of the make up i had for my ROM in June.. i just hope my skin will clear up soon..

Been shuffling to-and-fro in JB.. like twice per month =p? not going to Fables studio, but to shopping malls like City Square, Jusco, etc.. the things there are damn cheap.. just ordered my contact lens again.. 6 mths + 1 mth free Biomedic toric lens at RM 220! cheap.. less than S$100! If SG, i bought at 100+ i think can't remember le.. i only know cheaper a lot..

Watched Transformers and Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince with Dear. The former was fantastic!! i didn't expect to be such a blast! but the latter was a disappointment.. the ending was so unexpected.. like unfinished??

Next upcoming will be my Photoshoot!! It will be in Sept.. postponed because of Dear told me he will be going to Reservist last min... =(

Had some misunderstanding with Dear for few days.. just cleared up misunderstanding.. yeah probably what we lack is trust?? ya.. married liao then talk about that? contradicting yeah?? all i know he loves me a lot... but can love conquer everything?? Questions are flooding in my mind~

Missed my stop today! This is the third time (I think) that I missed my stop and had to take another bus back. But luckily it is not too far from my stop. These 2 days I am very tired, don’t know why. I skipped my Body Combat on Monday. Hopefully I have the energy to go today.

A few big events happened for the past month….:
- Dad was hospitalized. He has amputation twice, first on his toe, second on half of his calf.. At first, I was really upset now I’ve gotten over it..
- I am a married woman liao!! I got ROM on 5 June at Zhou’s Kitchen, Anchorpoint!! Everything went smoothly, except for some hiccups like it was too hot in the garden where we had our solemnization. Good friends & family came and share our joy. =) Everyone was generous with their tokens and i received 2 presents from my PL & J. =)

Some updates:

Last Sat, met up with J & V for movie and bit of shopping at JB.. we watcbed Confessions of a Shopaholic.. it was not bad movie. We had a pathetic dinner at one of the food outlet in City Square as by the time we finished shopping (i bought some skincare products), there weren't many eateries still operating.. but we spotted Marrybrown! Next time can makan there..

As for Wed, our company had annual dinner at 88 Restaurant. Well the food was not so nice wor.. compared to the previous 2 times i had annual dinner at the other 2 restaurants. In between the games, i sneaked out to collect Dar's Bd cake at Awfully Chocolate.. it so damn far from the restaurant to Vivocity wor.. just in time for the lucky draw.. luckily as i won the 13th prize haha.. got a $200 Takashimaya voucher! Later met up with Dar to cut cake.

We proceeded to one of the bridal studios at JB on Thurs, thanks to a nice lady i know thru S'pore Brides.. in the end, i confirmed immediately and got quite a good deal, i supposed haha.. will be waiting for them to call me once they got new ROM dress =) hopefully soon ah.. We wanna go Jusco.. Dar dunno the way well and we got lost, finally reach there safely, we had KFC, and we got some groceries & toiletries & i got 2 knickers from Topshop only RM 36 nia for 2.. there also got 2 BS having bridal fair.. we wanted to go back to CitySquare to buy his PS2 games, but din got any.. instead we got some titbits.. wanted to have seafood at Ta Ma Hua Yuan (is near the BS actually) but got lost again! We went back to SG and got caught in traffic jam. After that we went to Farmart to tabao seafood home - Lala, susu, stingray, chicken wings!!

Friday, we went to Lim Chu Kang for fishing.. i caught 2 fishes.. both seabass.. after that we had BBQ over there as well.. the BBQ pomfret was very nice! We had satay (Nice!), Chicken Wings, Pork (nice!), hotdogs, crabmeat & sweet potato (nice!).. Surpisingly it's one of the Uncle's birthday as well!

Later meeting Uni-mates up for makan session at Outback Steakhouse at Milennia Walk to celebrate WK's belated birthday (his bd falls on the same day as Dar)!

Ate so much.. time to start work-out next Mon onwards!

Last Sat, accompany J to JB to order her contact lens at CItysquare. We had late lunch at Old Town. She had Assam Laksa, and I had Chicken Curry Noodle. So sinful. This week I didn’t fulfill my diet plan….. it was to eat only salad / yoghurt for dinner.. haiz……. Anyway we went to Summit / Mix It to buy shoes/sandals. They were cheap and nice. Dinner we had Kenny Rogers I felt the portion was quite small but ok lah.. since I was full also..

Whereas for Sunday Der & I went to the Wedding Diary Asia at Suntec.. browsed some of the booths and I was quite interested in ‘Yvonne Creative’. The photos & gowns looked very nice! But still, we never confirmed as we wanted to go to JB to take a look first maybe it’s cheaper over there.. So till now I haven’t confirmed anything yet, until next week then go JB see if can negotiate for a ROM dress/make-up will be good.

Yesterday, met up with PL to go shopping at JL sale at PS. We went to have Lao Beijing to have dinner first. We had Peking duck (We ordered their Signature Braised Duck actually but the wrong dish came!! We didn’t make any noise as their Peking Duck was nice anyways!), Spinach Beancurd & their Signature XiaoLongBao Total bill is about $60.. still alright.. Bought some skincare products at JL and we went to Sasa to buy Suisse Programme.. I bought their Whitening series at only $90+.. original price was $209! Very worth it! Then we also bought their make-up remover at 31% off. PL said it was good. Ahh.. need to cut down on shopping ah..

Ohh.. & i saw Julian Hee (the guy acting as Sky in Perfect Cut) @ Vivo City last night! He looks the same as on screen & his smile is so mersmerizing! Hee..

Later accompany J to JB to collect her lenses!

Happy Chinese New Year! GONG XI FA CAI!

Though a bit late, but I’m still in time before the 15th day :p!

Argh, stuck in the office on Sat.. sleepy.. last night watched Joey’s Starlight concert in HK’s DVD, this was my bd present last year :p. Wow her voice is so powerful.. she don’t even have any high notes that go out of tune after so many songs.. she can even dance quite well.. ha.. I’m impressed…. I can’t see any flaws in her singing till now.. Plus she is so slim.. *envy* The only thing is all her concert songs and talking are in Cantonese.. which I don’t understand wor..

To recap: -
The Sat before CNY, Der brought me to Sobasei at Fairway. The food was very good as usual.. Then we went prawning.. Saw Xiao Chen Uncle, wished him Happy New Year but no Ang Bao was given.. lolz

CNY eve:
Father, Mum and I went to Tian Jin Lou (Tian Jin Restaurant) at Chinatown to have our reunion dinner on CNY eve..As the roads were closed, we alighted at 2 bus stops away and had to walk a distance to the restaurant. There were crowds in the Chinatown area as anticipated. We squeezed past hordes of people and alas, we still have to wait for the 1st round of customers to clear as we were the 2nd round at 8pm. Anyway, the food is not bad.. except for the Seabass.. as the fish meat is pathetic! Thumbs up for the ‘Pork Ribs’ and ‘Asparagus in XO Sauce’. I simply like anything fried with XO Sauce. Anyway we didn’t shop around after that, only bought curry fish balls for takeaway…

1st Day:
Went visiting to Grandma’s house. No one was around till Sis and family came after half an hour or so.. Later more people came and Der came also.. Mum dragged him to play Mahjong with Uncle and the rest.. he lost $40! Had steamboat after that.. loved it.. Mum does not like to prepare steamboat only can eat at other place.. After that, Der has to go visting to his Grandma’s house so Mum dragged me to play Mahjong. Was the first time that I played without Der’s guidance.. Ha.. Won $20.. actually can win $40 but Aunt thought I don’t know how to play so initially we agreed upon 50% loss & profit.. Anyway it was a good start for the ‘Niu’ Year!

2nd Day:
Had agreed that he will come fetch me to his house. Last min, he told me he’s still playing Mahjong and couldn’t fetch me. He told me to take cab he will foot the bill. But I took bus and I wanted him to come downstairs.. in the end, I realized he’s playing halfway and everyone stopped playing because of me..
After playing, went a short while to visit his Grandma and Uncle before we proceeded to prawning at Lakeside again! This time caught many prawns we had Mee Soto for dinner.. Xiao Chen Uncle still never give me Ang Bao as promised.. hmp!

Last Sat 6th Day:
In the afternoon, went for Body Combat class at GWC.

Der’s mum was suddenly admitted to hospital. We went to visit her at SGH in the evening. She had high blood pressure.. We bought some pears and bird’s nest with rock sugar for her.. But din realized that she couldn’t consume anything sweet at the moment.. Went back to his house to have steamboat.. but there were no fish (my ‘Must Have’ for steamboat).

Last Sunday 7th Day:
Mum asked us to go to Sis house for steamboat for lunch but Der refused. He said he has bought lunch back and he do not like to go to their house! Ok.. so we stayed in his house watched DVD and tv.. till he suddenly developed rashes (on and off for few months liao) and we went to Jurong to see skin doctor recommended by Xiao Chen Uncle.. but it was closed.. we had dinner at the nearby hawker before heading back..

Heard from Der that his Mum’s condition turned for the worse she is in ICU ward now.. Hope she will recover soon.. Der visited a skin doc and was given a few courses of medicine.. he said he’s getting better now..

As for me, I din visit gym for the past 1 week. Lazy and was having menses.... Went to ‘Touche’ at Orchard on Wed and I wanted to get rid of my milia seeds so went for laser burning.. she said try for few for the first time. So now my right side of the face is so ugly with red spots.. she said will go away in 1 week’s time.. Hopefully…

Thinking of picking up swimming again.. checked with a female coach, cost $150 for 1-1 for 4 sessions. 45min/session.. she said best price liao.. is it expensive??

Bored weekends~

Stayed at home the whole Sat to sleep.. Was supposed to go for free facial consultation at Bella, Jurong Point.. but decided against it as i do not have much cash at the moment and too lazy >_< In the end, i slept throughout the day.. later at night, went to Jurong Point in the end to ate at Dian Xiao Er again.. this time it's much expensive than previously.. as we ordered Thick Soup with Conpoy and Fish Maw, Roasted Duck in Ten Wonders, Eggplant in Claypot.. i still prefer the Roasted Duck in Angelica Herbs..

Sunday went with Der to Simei - Eastpoint to shop around.. was quite disappointed at the ulu shops there.. :( anyway we bought something for each other's family..

I bought a bottle of homemade Pineapple tarts from Prima Deli at Northpoint as i was collecting some stuffs from a spree organiser at her house in Yishun.. Eaten 3 pcs liao ;p i also bought a curry chicken pie from Piekia at Northpoint.. today at teabreak ate a bar of snickers.. growing fatter..

Arrghh.. i've grown fatter and pimples started to pop out in my face.. all because that i did not drink enough water hence no detox.. hmmm.. must control..

This week busy with pre CNY preparations - haha..
Mon (yesterday) - body combat at True Fitness
Tue (today) - pick up my Tokyo Fashion clothes from a spree organiser at Yishun (far..)
Wed - body combat at True Fitness
Thurs - pick up my PG mall bags from a spree organiser at Bukit Timah (luckily near my house)
Fri - redo my hair color again at Yoou at Jurong East..
Sat - if nothing on, go body combat again..
Sun (CNY eve) - Reunion dinner at Tian Jin Lou - Chinatown..

Finally finished my busy work schedule for the CNY peak period~

Last Sat, after work went shopping at Jurong Point with PL.. initial plan was to go to Mustafa with Joyce.. but she suddenly said she was sick.. Anyway we had a good time shopping for clothes from HURS.. their clothes are really pretty.. got 10% off my top as PL got their membership card as she spent $120.. After shopping about, in the evening we went to Dian Xiao Er and tried out their specialty: Roasted Duck in Angelica Herbs.. it's really yummy..

Sunday went to have a stroll along Marina's river.. near Singapore Flyer. As he had to attend a dinner with his boss in the evening *shrugs* we have gelato to pass time and an early dinner for myself at Popeyes! So great that they actually have a 2nd outlet here.. it's definitely beat KFC hands down. Yummy.. And as you can know, my diet plans came to a halt again.. probably start again after CNY.. sianz..

Oh went to La Senza just now after work and bought 3 bras for $69.. and got additional 10% for Standard Chartered cards.. there's really lots of sale + temptations everywhere..

Was at New York New York, lot 1 last Fri celebrated Sophia's birthday. Bought her a UNO Spin at Toys 'R Us! And witnessed a proposal at the table next to ours.. the guy sprung a surprise by turning up and singing with an old song "Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin" It was so sweet of him.. And naturally, the girl agrees to his proposal.. Just read my friend's blog, her bf also propose to her! So happy for them! Love is in the air~

i wonder whether 'he' will sprung this sort of surprise on me.. i doubt so as he's very unromantic and i dun think we will be getting married anytime soon.. as getting married requires a lot a lot of money which he do not have right now...

Anyway we just met up and we went to IMM to have dinner at Street... i had stone rice with portugese chicken. He had Chicken Curry with Rice. Also had spare ribs and jelly fish.. Total $30+. And we went to Daiso to shop around before heading home..

Last Mon, i collected my Celeb bags from a nice lady:

Spy Bag.. got the black one.. initially chose the white and black one.. but she said out of production and 2nd choice was the white one.. and she said the chain was different from the pic.. so in the end got the black one.



And Motorcycle Bag.. i got the white one.. it was gorgeous.. i just love things white.



Last Saturday, after work went for a bit of shopping. Bought myself a pair of white sandals from URS. Lovee white so much.. Next got myself eyebrow, eye liner pencil and
a lipgloss from Beauty Credit.. just to stock up my purchases.

Met Dear after that and we proceeded to have dinner at Taman Jurong.. ha the claypot chicken rice.. long queue waited for abt 20 min.. and it's really not so good as i thought.. but still nicer than others.. hee

Then we went for prawn fishing. Saw Uncle Xiaochen.. though we didn't talk much as he's busy "entertaining" with his kakis, wife and even coaching a new kaki, but he's still as witty as ever.. haha. Remember the last time we had a long chat was when Dear went fishing and we talked about his children.. Such a loving father + nice looking! I always thought i lack father love, hence he was like such a nice daddy to me (though he looks too young to be my dad ba.. didn't ask his age though) Aww..

Anyway i caught 18 prawns in less than 3 hours as i was sharing a rod with Dear. Broke my record.. haha!! Total we caught 30 over prawns + $11~

Next day, without anything to do, we went to prawn fishing again.. it was so bored! Caught only 5 prawns.. but got $5! Total i think caught 15 prawns.. Brought all home for Mum.

Then we went to Ichiban Sushi at Jurong Point! Redeemed a California Roll surprised it was so yummy.. Never did like California Roll wor.. Anyway we ate quite a lot (as usual)- about 10 sushis and cheese karage bento set. Total damage was $49+ and it was my treat lor. But never mind, once in a while is fine.. just to relieve his "pocket" Haha

Tomorrow bringing Mum, Sis and the children to eat at Fortune Cuisine again (went there for the first time with Joyce on 14/9/08) at Sunset Way - My birthday treat.. it's my treat.. lolz

Spent the weekend with Dear. Though we had a row sometime back in the week as i complained doing his activities almost all the time during the weekends..

Anyway we went to prawning on Sat.. not much luck in catching prawns but we managed to catch 31 bucks which covered the cost of 1 rod, also 1 free ticket for 1 hr .. haha.. then we gave all the prawns to Joyce. After which, we proceeded with PL to eat the bbq steamboat at Jurong. However, it was very disappointing... esp the soup base sucks. But i like the cooked food especially the fried chicken wings, though i didn't eat a lot, as was quite full.. We talked about plans to go for a holiday in Sept. Hence, probably won't be going with Dear to Genting.

Sunday, went to his Grandma's house for the praying to his Grandfather. I dread going there. Was full of ciggies smoke by Dear in the room. Yeah, sometimes i dislike him. And i was so bored.

Hee.. the prawn i caught with Der, PL & J, in Apr at Lakeside.

And last Sun, went with Der to Farmway at Pasir Ris, and i caught almost 10 just for half an hour (share with Der). Then we went to Pasir Ris Park.. saw such a big pond for fishing. Looks so fun. Will try next time if got chance :)

After that, we went to Changi Airport planning to pick up his parents from their holiday in Kaoshiung. Then realise they already have transport. Before that, i wanted to try Popeyes Chicken, as heard raves on it. As we were late, we went to dabao first, planning to eat in the car after seeing them. His mother bought a bracelet for me.. so touched.. she always buy things for me from holidaying. Anyway, i love Popeyes. It was so yummy. Beat KFC hands down haha. But Der thought was about the same. And i love the fries, tasted like twister fries from MacDonalds. Hee.
