Went to JB on Sun morning to have my last min gowns selection again. After which went to find Dear's friend. Then went to do my mani and pedi, intro-ed by his friend. Spent abt 2 hours there.. paisey leh.. having his friend wait so long. After which, we went back to his terrace house to have a rest. Yes, malaysians live in house and not flats. THen we went nearby to have dinner.. called 'Yi Jia'. We had chilli crayfish (thumbs up!!), curry fishhead, sambal kangkong, fried youtiao (nice), fried venison (nice), frog's meat (not legs only, but meat..). I think that's abt it.. it's cost only RM 121, converted to SG only S$50!! Plus, as it was hari raya puasa, so fireworks were going on.. we had the chance to walk around the vicinity after the hearty meal..

Well couldn't sleep at all in someone's house.. plus, it was the 2nd day of my menses.. thus was really tired the next day (My Indoor PS on 21 Sep - Hari Raya Puasa). We woke up quite late already but we managed to go to somewhere to have a quick breakfast. I had fish porridge, he had nasi lemak, and his friend had Da Bao..

During the PS we had to do many poses and the photograher commented my smile is not natural.. oh no.. hope my photos turn out well.. hmm.. *prays hard* After the shoot, we had KFC for dinner with Fables staff.. their KFC really tastes much yummy than SG!!

Guess wat, the next day back at work, i realised i was short of 1 indoor gown which i think either they have forgotten or we had miscomm.. as another gal served me on Sun morning and she short count of 1 gown which i also missed out as i was having bad flu so very blur.. then i called them up.. and then they said i have correct no. of gowns as they given me the extra traditional gown which the photographer gave me for free.. i was bewildered.. anyway she agreed to give me the extra gown during my outdoor PS on Tues. Dunno whether there's enough time for it anot.. sianz..

Went for my gowns selection last Sunday. However, was quite unsatisfied with a few of them. I’m going in this Sunday again to select another time. And I will also be doing my mani, hopefully got slots available. Indoor photoshoot will be on coming Monday. I am nervous yet excited....

Sunday finally went prawning with Dear.. though it was quite a while since I prawned, I still catch about 10 or more prawns (sharing a rod with Dear). Went to the one at Taman Jurong.. as Dear said can fish ‘tag’ on Sunday. In the end, we only got 1 tag, and I only spinned $2 only. And I also bought my first oven to use for baking!

Bought some utensils and ingredients to bake my first cake.. I tried to bake my very first cake, last night but it was a failure.. too embarrassed to take pics =( don’t know what went wrong.. but I will still continue to experiment with it, till succeed… wish me success!!

Am trying to learn to cook now, so I can cook nice dishes for Dear and my MIL if I moved in to their house..

Now frantically looking for MUA and PG for my AD.. it is a very HOT date so the good & cheap ones are not available already. =( I am too slow.. Yap.. I must faster confirm.. Actions must be very quick liao!!

Was Evan’s JM on 15 August… it was a very tiring day for me.. went to stay overnight on 14 Aug as her place was in Hougang and we need to meet at about 6am.. and Dear got reservist so I stayed there on Fri.. but in the end, never get to sleep at all.. as the room was too cold.. and Evan and Christal talked till about 2 plus… had some fun lah.. but eventually 1 of the JM got offended.. she did not said exactly who it was but actually I think she’s referring to me ba.. =( maybe I did not have enough sleep hence I said something wrong to her.. but I do not mean anything lor.. haiz.. i really don’t know how to please anyone… and till now I still dunno what did I say to her.. I am the sort who takes anyone said seriously and somehow it affects my mood very much.. Super blue and green Monday..

Sianz.. I feel I don’t wanna have a wedding liao.. no mood..

Some updates

1 Aug was Jo’s AD. Attended her banquet at My Humble House @ Esplanade. That night coincidentally was NDP preview, so I took MRT there, and walked all the way to Esplanade with WK and Jeff. As I was late, so we walked quite fast… in the end having blisters on my foot.. yucks.. as the insides of the sandals I was wearing has worn off thus cutting my poor foot.. now in the healing process.. Anyway, My Humble House has a good view of the SG River as well as the fireworks.. very spectacular view just b4 the dinner. The food was fusion styled, whereby each guest was served individually and I felt the food was fantastic. Lastly, congrats to Jo & Raymond!

Last Friday, 7 Aug was Evan’s Hen’s Night.. all gals prepared something for her… ha.. but too bad, she was not game enough to perform all the things we had prepared for her.. like getting guys to kiss her... Hen was supposed to do all sorts of crazy stuff on her last day as a bachelorette mah.. Anyway we just drank like nobody’s business.. I actually like the Mixers – Vodka mixed with Cranberry and Vodka mixed with Red Bull.. much better than the tequila shots / pop.. Went home giddily at about 1 plus and slept straight like a log.. Imagine I still need to work next day on Sat 1/2 day..

Saturday, after visiting Dad for short while @ Grandma's house, met up with Joyce for short dinner for KFC @ West Mall.. Had the coupons so we tried the Spicy drumlets.. preferred the Chilli Blast.. Later on, we had ice-cream at Udders.. surprisingly West Mall also had an outlet on 2nd floor.. Udders had also just opened an outlet just opposite my house.. I had Mao Shan Durian and Orange Bitter Choc.. Yumm..

Sunday, National Day 9 Aug, went with Dear to eat BBQ steamboat buffet @ Chong Pang, Turf City.. the food was ok only.. it was $18 per pax on PH / Weekends.. inclusive of free flow of soft drinks.. after that went to visit Dad.. Der was rushing off to work as he was working night shift..


Monday 10 Aug, was supposed to go with Dear for prawning @ Bishan, the one that Esther has mentioned.. I think it is @ Bishan Park.. Dear said we went before.. in the end, I had to meet up with Evan’s & her JM for discussion. Her AD will be on this Sat 15 Aug. Ya, Dear was unhappy. Initially he said ok, prawning can go the following week, then eventually he showed his true feelings… as we dragged till about 6pm plus as the JMs were choosing & buying their ‘blue’ dress... After which, suggested Adam Food Centre as we were driving towards there.. and we had prawn noodles.. 3 medium prawns + noodles cost $5 each! Had a slight shock.. and it taste so-so only..

Missed my stop today! This is the third time (I think) that I missed my stop and had to take another bus back. But luckily it is not too far from my stop. These 2 days I am very tired, don’t know why. I skipped my Body Combat on Monday. Hopefully I have the energy to go today.

A few big events happened for the past month….:
- Dad was hospitalized. He has amputation twice, first on his toe, second on half of his calf.. At first, I was really upset now I’ve gotten over it..
- I am a married woman liao!! I got ROM on 5 June at Zhou’s Kitchen, Anchorpoint!! Everything went smoothly, except for some hiccups like it was too hot in the garden where we had our solemnization. Good friends & family came and share our joy. =) Everyone was generous with their tokens and i received 2 presents from my PL & J. =)

Shall cut it short here. Will try to update whenever possible. =)

Went to Fables Bridal at JB with him on Thurs to choose my ROM dress.. we went to Old Town Coffee @ City Square to have brunch first.. i had nasi lemak redang.. bagus! He had the classic nasi lemak.. we had additional toast with curry chicken.. yummy!! Then we shopped around for his slippers and wanted to buy a shirt but to no avail as his size was unvailable!

So we chose a simple dress and had to be altered to my size.. wow.. i am fat lor.. dunno can manage to shed some fats within less than a month or not.. i also tried on some gowns for fun..



After which we had a hearty seafood dinner at Da Ma Hua Yuan..



Last night, had a simple celebraton for Sarah's 2nd Birthday at home.. ate very full (again)!

As for today, I just returned from dinner at 88 Restaurant with his family. It was a very full meal (again) but was a good one! We signed the agreement on the spot and i managed to ask more perks! =)) Heee

Last evening after work, met up with Der at Vivo City. We had dinner at Dian Xiao Er – had Herbal Duck in Dangui, Dongpo Meat & Kai Lan with Salted Fish & Lime.. The Dongpo Meat was very tender and yummy! Thumbs Up! Later we went to Challenger to get a longer Cable for my Starhub.. After that, we went to collect our wedding bands at Lee Hwa, had a tough time deciding wat to engrave as the spaces were limited for my ring. In the end, we just settled to engrave the date only..

Last Sat, we went to Joey Yung’s concert at Max Pavilion, Expo.. The seats were very lousy and were non-elevated. Luckily Joey’s exceptional performance compensated for everything. Joyce and I bought the luminous flash sticks to show our support for her and the whole event was very happening! Her dance moves & Mandarin has improved tremendously! Her voice was powerful & she rocks! She also sang Stefanie Sun & Tanya’s songs. She was great.. wished her concert would be longer though.. dunno when she will come again for concert.. haiz…

Some updates:

Last Sat, met up with J & V for movie and bit of shopping at JB.. we watcbed Confessions of a Shopaholic.. it was not bad movie. We had a pathetic dinner at one of the food outlet in City Square as by the time we finished shopping (i bought some skincare products), there weren't many eateries still operating.. but we spotted Marrybrown! Next time can makan there..

As for Wed, our company had annual dinner at 88 Restaurant. Well the food was not so nice wor.. compared to the previous 2 times i had annual dinner at the other 2 restaurants. In between the games, i sneaked out to collect Dar's Bd cake at Awfully Chocolate.. it so damn far from the restaurant to Vivocity wor.. just in time for the lucky draw.. luckily as i won the 13th prize haha.. got a $200 Takashimaya voucher! Later met up with Dar to cut cake.

We proceeded to one of the bridal studios at JB on Thurs, thanks to a nice lady i know thru S'pore Brides.. in the end, i confirmed immediately and got quite a good deal, i supposed haha.. will be waiting for them to call me once they got new ROM dress =) hopefully soon ah.. We wanna go Jusco.. Dar dunno the way well and we got lost, finally reach there safely, we had KFC, and we got some groceries & toiletries & i got 2 knickers from Topshop only RM 36 nia for 2.. there also got 2 BS having bridal fair.. we wanted to go back to CitySquare to buy his PS2 games, but din got any.. instead we got some titbits.. wanted to have seafood at Ta Ma Hua Yuan (is near the BS actually) but got lost again! We went back to SG and got caught in traffic jam. After that we went to Farmart to tabao seafood home - Lala, susu, stingray, chicken wings!!

Friday, we went to Lim Chu Kang for fishing.. i caught 2 fishes.. both seabass.. after that we had BBQ over there as well.. the BBQ pomfret was very nice! We had satay (Nice!), Chicken Wings, Pork (nice!), hotdogs, crabmeat & sweet potato (nice!).. Surpisingly it's one of the Uncle's birthday as well!

Later meeting Uni-mates up for makan session at Outback Steakhouse at Milennia Walk to celebrate WK's belated birthday (his bd falls on the same day as Dar)!

Ate so much.. time to start work-out next Mon onwards!

Last Sat, accompany J to JB to order her contact lens at CItysquare. We had late lunch at Old Town. She had Assam Laksa, and I had Chicken Curry Noodle. So sinful. This week I didn’t fulfill my diet plan….. it was to eat only salad / yoghurt for dinner.. haiz……. Anyway we went to Summit / Mix It to buy shoes/sandals. They were cheap and nice. Dinner we had Kenny Rogers I felt the portion was quite small but ok lah.. since I was full also..

Whereas for Sunday Der & I went to the Wedding Diary Asia at Suntec.. browsed some of the booths and I was quite interested in ‘Yvonne Creative’. The photos & gowns looked very nice! But still, we never confirmed as we wanted to go to JB to take a look first maybe it’s cheaper over there.. So till now I haven’t confirmed anything yet, until next week then go JB see if can negotiate for a ROM dress/make-up will be good.

Yesterday, met up with PL to go shopping at JL sale at PS. We went to have Lao Beijing to have dinner first. We had Peking duck (We ordered their Signature Braised Duck actually but the wrong dish came!! We didn’t make any noise as their Peking Duck was nice anyways!), Spinach Beancurd & their Signature XiaoLongBao Total bill is about $60.. still alright.. Bought some skincare products at JL and we went to Sasa to buy Suisse Programme.. I bought their Whitening series at only $90+.. original price was $209! Very worth it! Then we also bought their make-up remover at 31% off. PL said it was good. Ahh.. need to cut down on shopping ah..

Ohh.. & i saw Julian Hee (the guy acting as Sky in Perfect Cut) @ Vivo City last night! He looks the same as on screen & his smile is so mersmerizing! Hee..

Last Sat, after my gym at Great World, Mum came & met up with me for dinner. We had Indonesian fare.. the food is ok only, with free flow dessert..

Sunday, went with Der to visit the venue.. & it doesn't seem so nice as what i've thought.. and it seems so hot on an afternoon.. & if it rains, the solemnization got to be move in.. Anyway we went to shop around at Vivo City for our wedding bands, went to Lee Hwa, Love & Co, Goldheart, Tianpo & finally Soo Kee.. After some discussion and dinner, we went to Food Republic to eat at 'Pu Tian', Chinese fare, as he doesn't want to squeeze with crowd -_-|||. In the end, we decided on the 'destinee' range at Lee Hwa!! Yippee!!!

Yeah, finished with my direct mailing today, will be tying up the loose ends of the promo by this Thurs!! Excited, hopefully the promo goes well as i've put in lots of effort!

During Valentine's Day, we went to Hilltop restaurant and it was a disaster, as it was full house even when he has make a reservation.. then when we entered the place, it was like a food court, rowdy and crowded.. damn it was a wrong decision. After that we went to see a movie, Underworld- The Rising of the Lycans and Der just went down with one knee to propose but thinking back, i think he was just squatting... lolz.. Hee nothing much as he wasn't the romantic type..

Searching for venues / bridal studios etc is no mean task.. quite stressful.. hmmm..

Last Sat, went to re-permed my hair at Chapter 2, Jurong Point. Found Priscilla, creative stylist to do it.. as recommended in Les Dames . I also opted for intensive treatment.. and it came up to $300! but it was worth it, i felt as my hair feels so much better now..

On sat, we went to New York New York to have dinner as it was Samantha's early birthday celebration. Was glad that Der was able to join us for dinner.. before that, we went to browse 2 of the bridal studios in IMM, as there was not much time.. we just asked about the package, which came up to about the same price.. hmmmz..

Found out about my senior scandalous past.. wahaha.. i never thought she's this kind of person as i thought she's quite an upright person in these years that i've known her.. She's also nicknamed 'The Dowager' by some of the older staff wahaha.. My company may be facing a pay cut for all employees.. =(( And 1 of my colleague has got sacked, not retrenched!

Have told Joyce & PL about by ROM in june, though haven't confirmed the venue, but the date has been confirmed =))

Went to JB with PL today, i made a new specs at only RM199 and bought a CLINELLE moisturiser recommended by PL and spent more than my budget.. hmmm.... gotta save up already so other things need to be shelved for now.. btw as there was a bridal studio fair at City Sq, so i just took the chance to ask about the packages.. which is some difference from Sg.. ok still browsing..
